Dousman Transport Company (DTC) relies on its dedicated team of professional drivers who play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our school bus services. These drivers are extensively trained and undergo rigorous testing, making them among the most highly qualified drivers on the road today. Their main objective is to provide students with a secure and comfortable journey to and from school every day.

Employment Opportunities

To become a school bus driver at DTC, applicants must pass various tests, including drug screenings, physical exams, and thorough background checks. They then undergo comprehensive training for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a school bus endorsement and passenger endorsement, focusing on the specific skills needed for student transportation safety. Once licensed, drivers are subject to ongoing monitoring, including regular assessments, physical exams, drug/alcohol tests, and driving record checks. Despite these rigorous requirements, our drivers are passionate about their role, viewing the students they transport as the most precious cargo.
